Mapleton Middle School

Welcome to Mapleton Middle School

Mapleton Middle School

At Mapleton Middle School, we help students make the transition between grade school and high school. We believe that a successful transition requires both academic preparation as well a healthy dose of 'life skills' that range from a general social maturity to organization, communication, and time management. To this end, all students take core academic classes including language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, computers, physical education, health, and foreign language. Student also have elective options to explore their own interests including art and woodshop. Mapleton Middle School students are furthermore encouraged to participate in school sports and the after-school program as well as after-school activities hosted by the Student Council throughout the year.

Like many schools in our county, Mapleton Middle School operates on a four-day school week (Monday-Thursday). Because of this, we have an extended school day: 8:12am-4:01pm.

Edline Information

Since 2007, Mapleton High School and Middle Schools have provided access for students and parents to current grades using Edline. There are accounts available for all students and parents. If you need assistance in setting up an account or have misplaced your username and/or password, please contact the high school office: 541.268.4322.

As students, teachers, and parents become more familiar with the system, we expect it to also be used to disseminate homework and provide access to daily/weekly announcements. Thank you for your patience with this new technology!
