Inclement Weather
Attached below is how our bussing will operate during times of inclement weather. We will post letting you know when we default to such routes. As we all know the weather can be unpredictable and we will make decisions based on the safety for students and staff as quickly as possible. Inclement Weather RoutesBus routes may be altered due to inclement weather. When buses are on snow routes in the morning, they will be on snow routes in the afternoon unless otherwise stated. Times can vary several minutes with inclement weather so please be patient and have students at their stops early. **DEADWOOD BUS** – The bus will not pick up students from the regular stops on Deadwood Creek Rd. or tributaries. Those students may catch the bus at Deadwood Store at 7:33 AM and will return at 4:30 PM. Students on Highway 36 will be picked up and dropped off at their normal times at their regular bus stop. **SWEET CREEK/TIERNAN BUS/INDIAN CREEK** – The bus will not pick up students on Indian Creek Rd. Those students can catch the Deadwood bus at Indiola at 7:40 AM and will return on the Deadwood bus at 4:20 PM. All other students will be picked up at their normal times and regular bus stops. **HWY 126 EAST and EAST MAPLETON ROAD** – The bus will not pick up students on Hwy 126, Stagecoach Rd., or Upper Richardson Rd. All other students will be picked up and dropped off at their normal times and their regular bus stops. **PRE-SCHOOL** – Bus will pick up students at their normal times. **Two-Hour Delay – ** In the event of a two-hour delay, buses will run two hours behind regular schedule for AM pickup and return home at regular scheduled drop off times. Please check to see if buses are on snow routes. **Pre-School** will be canceled in the event of a two-hour delay.
