Mapleton School District has signed up to use the Remind App in order to send out school wide notifications. These would be notifications of school closures for snow or other emergencies. If you would like to sign up for the notifications you have two options:
For the Middle/High School:
If you would like push notifications on a smartphone go to rmd.at/mapletonor which will prompt you to download the app.
To receive text message notifications text the message: @mapletonor to the number 81010 or 205-409-7578 if the 81010 has problems.
For the Elementary:

In addition to the Remind App, you can receive information from FlashAlert with the below information.
The FlashAlert system distributes emergency messages, such as breaking news or weather closure information, and news releases from Mapleton School District. You are able to receive emergency information just minutes after we post it, at no cost to you. An email address is required to create a FlashAlert account.

Addresses registered on FlashAlert will remain confidential and will not be released to any person or organization. Once a year, you will receive an email at your primary address asking if you wish to continue your subscription.
Many local television and radio stations broadcast emergency and school closure information.
